Carol has consistently resented her kinfolk - her mom, ceaselessly knitting, her father and his obsession with subsequent door's encroaching backyard hedge, and her brother, ever silent and scheming.
So whilst she is invited to fulfill the colourful, bohemian kin round the corner of their messy condo choked with books and work and empty of principles, Carol quickly starts a mystery double existence over the much-hated backyard hedge. the following Carol voices her maximum delusion and tells her first significant lie...that she is adopted.
